• CNN was scheduled to provide the television pool for President Donald Trump’s trip to New York City, New York, for the United Nations General Assembly, but the White House prevented CNN from performing its assigned pool duties after CNN, MS NOW, and Politico lost White House access; ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and the other major television networks then did not operate the traditional shared television pool.
• The presidential television pool normally places a limited camera crew with the president and distributes its video to other news organizations, but the dispute meant the usual shared operation was not functioning while Trump attended the United Nations, met foreign leaders, conducted press interactions, and moved between scheduled engagements.
• Real America’s Voice, a conservative media network, was listed in White House travel guidance as the secondary television crew for Trump’s trip and maintained a camera team covering his movements and meetings, including his engagement with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and a question concerning Ukrainian strikes on Russian refining capacity and diesel infrastructure.
• Real America’s Voice said it established a raw television feed without network graphics or bumpers and made direct ingest access available to other media organizations upon request; CNN separately continued covering Trump at the United Nations under United Nations credentials despite being blocked from participating in the White House television pool.

• Former U.S. Border Patrol Commander-at-Large Greg Bovino, who led major federal immigration enforcement operations before retiring from Customs and Border Protection in 2026, discussed organized networks mobilizing in Austin, Texas, around federal immigration enforcement and said groups were moving into the city as ICE, Border Patrol, and other federal personnel carried out enforcement operations.
• The Austin dispute involved Wilber Perez, identified as a Venezuelan DoorDash driver with a final order of removal, while discussion surrounding the incident included Perez’s injuries, including a broken clavicle, and accusations that organized groups had mobilized against ICE and Border Patrol during the enforcement operation.
• Bovino said organized networks could rapidly assemble people in major American cities to confront ICE, Border Patrol, and law enforcement, and he argued that federal authorities should focus on identifying, infiltrating, gathering evidence against, disrupting, and degrading those networks before they can mobilize around future enforcement actions.
• Bovino cited previous federal activity in Los Angeles, California, involving the Tides network, saying evidence had been collected with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles and the FBI office there before the network became inactive; he said effective disruption required federal prosecutors, long-term FBI investigators, evidence collection, and early investigative operations.

• Turning Point Action, the political advocacy organization founded by Charlie Kirk, presented Commit 100 as a voter-contact and ballot-chasing operation for the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, with activity focused on Nevada, New Hampshire, and Arizona and volunteers able to participate through the Turning Point Action mobile application.
• Commit 100 instructs participants to pursue 100 ballots by contacting low-propensity voters, building relationships with those voters, encouraging them to participate, and conducting outreach during an election period encompassing mail ballots, early voting, and Election Day voting.
• The initiative originated during the 2024 presidential election as an effort intended to help return Donald Trump to office, and Turning Point Action said its ballot chasers contacted more than 300,000 low-propensity voters in Arizona before carrying the initiative forward into the 2026 midterm cycle.
• Turning Point Action said participants could conduct outreach remotely through its mobile application or travel to targeted states for in-person ballot-chasing operations, with free lodging accommodations provided through a partnership with Citizens Alliance and Cliff Maloney for volunteers traveling to conduct the work.
