1. Tyler Robinson’s Cell Phone Placed Him At The Scene Of The Charlie Kirk Murder
Utah State Bureau of Investigation search warrants reveal Tyler Robinson’s cell phone recorded a Google Maps route beginning approximately 23 minutes after Charlie Kirk was murdered at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, with the route starting near the Mountain Shadows Shopping Center in Orem, Utah, approximately seven minutes from the UVU campus, directing Robinson to his home at 3419 S River Rd., Saint George, Utah.
Utah State Bureau of Investigation Agent Draney obtained records and video footage from the Quick Quack Car Wash at 855 N State St., Orem, confirming Robinson’s 2013 Dodge Challenger, Utah license plate T455CE, arrived at approximately 12:57 hours on September 10, 2025, with investigators confirming Robinson as a co-owner of the vehicle through a prior records check.
A 2nd Google Maps route stored on Robinson’s device had a start time of 1:33 AM on September 11, 2025, with GPS coordinates placing the starting point in the neighborhood north of and in close proximity to the area near UVU where the rifle used in the shooting was recovered, with the route directed back to Robinson’s residence at 3419 S River Rd., Saint George, Utah.
Investigators seized and searched two phones from Robinson, an iPhone 13 and an iPhone 14 in an OtterBox case with a cracked screen, with warrants authorizing extraction of calls, texts, GPS data, social media activity, search history, and all metadata; Robinson appeared at a preliminary hearing in Provo, Utah from July 6 through July 10, 2025, with Judge Tony Graf scheduled to issue his ruling by September 1.
2. Treasury Sanctions Target The Financial Network Hiding Money For Iran’s Supreme Leader’s Son
The US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control announced sanctions Friday targeting Ali Ansari, a Dubai-based Iranian businessman accused of overseeing an international portfolio of real estate and commercial assets for senior Iranian regime officials and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, with Treasury alleging Ansari institutionalized large-scale embezzlement within Iran’s financial system and previously owned and directed the now-defunct Ayandeh Bank, which collapsed in 2025 under massive debt after allegedly issuing billions of dollars in loans to Ansari’s own companies backed by Iran’s central bank.
Treasury alleges Ansari used shell companies and bank accounts across multiple jurisdictions through Smart Global Limited, a holding company registered in Saint Kitts and Nevis, to accumulate assets ultimately benefiting Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Iran’s Supreme Leader, with those investments including real estate and commercial properties in Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, the United Kingdom, Cyprus, and the United Arab Emirates; OFAC designated both Ansari and Smart Global Limited under authorities targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader’s affiliates and entities supporting the IRGC.
Treasury also sanctioned three major Iranian exchange houses identified as critical components of Iran’s shadow banking system: Mohammad Darbani and Partners Exchange General Partnership Company, Lavasani and Partners General Partnership Company, and Mohsen Khandan and Partners General Partnership Company, along with CDM Trading Limited, a Hong Kong-based front company, and Naba Alzaki Raw Materials Trading LLC, a United Arab Emirates-based business, all accused of collectively holding and transferring billions of dollars for sanctioned Iranian banks including Bank Melli, Bank Saderat, Bank Mellat, Bank Sepah, and others through complex layers of shell companies.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated the Trump administration will continue using every tool at its disposal to isolate regime elites from the global financial system, with Friday’s action building on a series of recent Treasury measures targeting Iran’s sanctions evasion networks following renewed Iranian attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, and with foreign financial institutions warned they could face secondary sanctions for knowingly facilitating transactions with the newly designated parties.
3. Senator Lindsey Graham Dies At 71 After Returning From A Final Trip To Kyiv
Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina died on Saturday evening at age 71, after emergency responders were dispatched to his Capitol Hill home following reports of a cardiac arrest, with his office initially describing the cause as a brief and sudden illness.
The District of Columbia Medical Examiner’s preliminary findings identified Graham’s cause of death as Aortic Dissection due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease, with the death certificate remaining pending until all toxicological and microscopic testing is finalized.
Graham had returned from a trip to Kyiv, Ukraine shortly before his death, where on Friday he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss proposed US sanctions on Russia, and President Trump stated on NBC’s Meet the Press that he spoke with Graham by phone just hours before his death, with Graham expressing no indication of serious illness and actively promoting the Save America Act.
South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster announced today that he is appointing Darline Graham Nordone, the younger sister of Senator Lindsey Graham, to serve the remainder of her brother’s Senate term, stating that Graham took care of his little sister in years long departed and that it was his honor to ask her to finish his work; Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters praised the appointment, saying America lost an incredible patriot in Graham but that his legacy of service and love of South Carolina will live on through his sister.
FINAL WORD
The Tyler Robinson case produced new cell phone evidence, the US Treasury Department sanctioned Iranian financial networks tied to the Supreme Leader’s son, and Senator Graham died and has been replaced by his sister to serve out the remainder of his term. But as we await the continuation of the Tyler Robinson case on September 1, we are being tested right now in foreign policy and in the Senate where optics are everything. Which means, as conservatives, we must continue to hold the line.
On today's episode of Human Events Daily, search warrants obtained by the Utah State Bureau of Investigation reveal that Tyler Robinson's cell phone had a Google Maps route beginning about 23 minutes after Charlie Kirk was murdered.
