• On 3 December 2025, 18-year-old British university student Henry Nowak was stabbed five times by Vikram Degwa in Southampton, UK; Nowak had been outside a bar filming a Snapchat video when the attack occurred.
• When Hampshire and Isle of Wight constabulary officers arrived on scene, Degwa’s family falsely accused Nowak of being the perpetrator; the mother concealed the murder weapon, the father physically pinned Nowak against a wall, and the brother made a fraudulent call to law enforcement.
• Nowak told responding officers he could not breathe nine times and stated he had been stabbed four times; one officer responded, “I don’t think you have, mate,” and Nowak was handcuffed, dragged across gravel, and arrested for assault rather than receiving medical aid.
