13 APR 26 SITREP

1. China Wants To End The Strait Of Hormuz Crisis
  • President Trump exclusively revealed to Jack Posobiec that Chinese President Xi Jinping wants the Strait of Hormuz crisis ended and said both the United States and China want the situation resolved while maintaining a strong bilateral relationship.
  • Trump also told Posobiec that Iran will not be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon, said there would be no deal if Iran refuses that condition, and referenced Iran’s actions over 47 years as justification for the position.
  • A May 14 meeting in Beijing, China was confirmed as an upcoming engagement between President Trump and Xi Jinping amid the ongoing Strait of Hormuz crisis and broader tensions involving Iran and global energy flows.
  • The United States Navy has also imposed a blockade on the Strait of Hormuz targeting vessels entering or leaving Iranian ports, ordered interdiction of ships paying tolls to Iran, and created conditions that could restrict Iranian oil exports to China, Iran’s largest customer, following disruptions to global oil shipments.
2. Dublin Ireland Protests Over Fuel Costs Taxes And Migration
  • Large-scale protests in Dublin, Ireland took place around O’Connell Bridge and O’Connell Street, involving thousands of participants including fishermen and workers from Donegal, using tractors, lorries, and vehicles to conduct slow-roll demonstrations across highways.
  • Protesters highlighted severe economic strain, including fuel costs where €1.10 of every €2 spent on petrol goes to taxes, alongside complaints of 60 percent taxation on fuel and rising operational costs forcing workers such as fishermen catching brown crab and lobster to continue operating at break-even levels.
  • Political pressure intensified with calls for a no-confidence vote against the Irish government, supported by figures such as Gavin Pepper and Ken O’Flynn, alongside demands to reduce excise and carbon taxes to lower fuel prices by approximately €0.10 per liter.
  • Demonstrators linked economic issues to immigration policies, citing billions of euros spent on IPAS accommodation, reporting incidents such as a knife attack by a Somali national on two 18-year-old girls, and arguing that migration has created both social and financial burdens on Irish communities.
3. Eric Swalwell Allegations And Campaign Withdrawal
  • California Congressman Eric Swalwell faced allegations of sexual misconduct, including a 2024 incident under criminal investigation by a New York district attorney, which he publicly denied while acknowledging personal mistakes unrelated to criminal behavior.
  • Video evidence and a forensic report were released showing Swalwell in compromising situations involving alleged paid companions, with claims that the full sequence of events from the night was recorded and could involve additional undisclosed details.
  • Following the release of the materials, Swalwell suspended his campaign for governor of California while remaining in his congressional position, altering the dynamics of a crowded gubernatorial race involving multiple Democratic and independent candidates.
  • Questions emerged regarding whether other individuals, including potential associates or elected officials, were present during the incident, raising concerns about possible blackmail, influence, or broader involvement beyond the initial allegations.

FINAL WORD
These events demonstrate interconnected pressures across military strategy, domestic governance, and political accountability operating simultaneously across multiple regions. Maritime conflict involving the Strait of Hormuz is influencing global energy flows that contribute to economic instability seen in Ireland, while political disruption in California reflects internal institutional strain. Together, they show how geopolitical conflict, economic systems, and governance challenges are intersecting across international and domestic levels.

President Trump CONFIRMS: GAME ON With China

On today's episode of Human Events Daily, I am very honored to have attend an impromptu event at the White House today just outside the Oval Office. And right now videos are going viral of a DoorDash Grandma delivering McDonald's to President Trump himself. It's been quite a day at the White House.
