• Outrage grew following the release of millions of newly released Justice Department records concerning convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including records described as containing Epstein’s messages with powerful men.
• Messages from 2013 were show Jeffrey Epstein connecting New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch with various women, including an exchange where Steve Tisch asked about a woman by writing, “pro or civilian?”
• Steve Tisch issued a statement acknowledging a brief association with Jeffrey Epstein involving emails about adult women, while stating he did not accept invitations and never went to Epstein’s island.
• Pressure increased on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after the records included undated photos lacking context showing the former prince crouched over a young woman, while House Democrats sought his appearance for questioning in November and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said anyone with information should be prepared to share it.

• Turning Point USA announced the performers for the “All-American Halftime Show” as an alternative to the Super Bowl halftime show on February 8, with the lineup including Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.
• Turning Point spokesman Andrew Kolvet said the All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for Americans to enjoy a halftime show with “no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom,” and described the program as an entertainment option meant to be “fun, excellent, and exciting for the entire family.”
• The All-American Halftime Show is set to be streamed at around 8 pm on February 8, while the Super Bowl LX halftime show features Bad Bunny, who previously said he did not want to perform in the US during his 2025 tour because of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
• NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the NFL was standing by its decision to select Bad Bunny despite criticism, and the All-American Halftime Show will be streamed on TPUSA’s YouTube, X, and Rumble while also airing through Sinclair Broadcast’s OTT Channel and outlets including YouTube TV, Hulu, Sling, Daily Wire+, TBN, Real America’s Voice, NTD, and OANN.

• Two sitting state legislators, Sergio Torres Felix and Elizabeth Rafaela Montoya Ojeda of the Citizens’ Movement party, were wounded Wednesday after gunmen opened fire on their vehicle around noon in downtown Culiacan, Sinaloa, near the city’s boardwalk shortly after leaving the state Congress building.
• Elizabeth Rafaela Montoya Ojeda was struck by a bullet and was listed in stable condition, while Sergio Torres Felix was injured by shrapnel and was reported to be in delicate but stable condition.
• Their bodyguard, Gonzalo Quintero, was also wounded while attempting to repel the attack and remains hospitalized in stable condition, while the assailants fled before police arrived and no arrests were made at the scene.
• Public safety officers responded to reports of gunfire, surveillance footage from the area is being reviewed as investigators work to identify the shooters and determine their escape route, and local media reported later Wednesday that a vehicle believed to have been used in the attack had been located.
